What We Do
We help pilots and controllers with an adverse health situation determine whether seeking an FAA Medical Certificate is a reasonable goal. There are some medical histories which automatically preclude the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) from issuing a Medical Certificate. When that is the case, we advise you of this at the earliest possible point in the search.
Once we determine that the goal is reasonable, we create a strategy with you, identifying all required steps in the process. Communicating with your doctors and other medical service providers, we ensure they understand the informational needs of the FAA. We work with the doctors and with you to identify and schedule any necessary tests or examinations.
Once all the legwork is completed, we compile the necessary documentation, organize it for the FAA, and submit it on your behalf. As your case progresses through the FAA’s process, we track it and keep you fully informed. If there is a need to appeal, we pursue these with the appropriate government entity. This includes Special Issuances and Statements of Demonstrated Ability (SODA’s).
In short, we relieve you of the need to learn all the rules, protocols, and procedures, and do all the detail work required. This includes all follow-ups with medical service providers and communication with the FAA. For most of our clients, this reduces the worry factor significantly.
And for all of this you will pay a simple, one-time flat fee. There will never be an additional cost to you once we have accepted you as a client.
